Dear Students,
I believe you have had a good break for the past two weeks. Now it's time to doing some solid work.You should spend the rest of November to complete Units 2-9 of Creative Writing for Secondary School. You had done Unit 1 of this course as part of your Term 3 Holiday Assignment. Remember? You can either print it and write on it or type directly. It's up to you.
You should try to read as many books as you can this holiday. Finding the time to read next year will be a luxury to you as you will have to cope with many heavy-weight subjects. Hence, read as much as you can. I would suggest a minimum of 10 books. You should continue to build your word bank as you read. All you need to do as an assignment to hand in to your EL teacher next year is just ONE well-written book review of at least 350 words. You may type and add in graphics if you wish to. This can be included as part of CA1(2009).
I would like to thank you for being such great students this year. I will miss you all. Here's wishing you a fruitful holiday.
